FitAssist Nordic Walking Poles are designed to promote stability and control through features, materials and construction. We have designed each model with features to match your planned activities.

• The 6061 series is an aluminum alloy containing magnesium and silicon; they provide a good strength to weight ratio and are excellent value for money.
• The 7075 series are alloyed with zinc; they are hardened to a higher strength than 6061. FitAssist 7075 series poles are lighter for an equivalent strength rating but cost a little more!; you should consider the 7075 series if you will be using your poles for a extended periods of time.

DESIGN FEATURES

• Grip shapes are designed to promote correct ergonomic positioning of the hand; certain models are designed to be easier to hold if you have smaller hands or arthritis
• Adjustable padded wrist straps are provided with all poles
Straps provide extra support and reduce the chance of repetitive strain injuries sometimes experienced by users of models without them
• Adjustable lengths allow for a custom fit by having a 90 degree elbow bend when holding the pole grip in your hand and the tip is on the ground
Adjustable lengths are easy to pack when travelling, plus allow people of different heights to share poles
• Durable pole shaft locking mechanisms have easy to understand graphics and are designed to be secure and simple to operate
A combination push button, shaft-tightening system is used on certain models for those with limited hand strength
• Pole shafts use premium lightweight materials to provide superior resistance to bending or breaking plus minimizing swing weight
• Removable FitAssist foot caps are custom designed to provide stability and balance
• Models with shock absorbing feature are designed to reduce stress on joints and ligaments by using premium spring steel and elastomeric components for long term durability
