Choosing between 6061 or 7075 series poles

The 6061 series is an aluminum alloy containing magnesium and silicon; they provide a good strength to weight ratio and are excellent value for money.

The 7075 series are alloyed with zinc; they are hardened to a higher strength than 6061. FitAssist 7075 series poles are lighter for an equivalent strength rating but cost a little more!; you should consider the 7075 series if you will be using your poles for a extended periods of time.
